Create an Invention Project
This unit includes lesson plans which introduce students to the inventing process as well as preparing for their own projects,and handouts to help students with their project. I used this unit to create a class invention convention in which other classes and parents were invited to attend.

Stop Motion Movie Project
Students use a still camera to take still pictures of an object, move the object, and shoot another picture. Process continues until students have several hundred photos. They then use video editing software (iMovie or Windows Movie Maker) to put the pictures together and play them at a high rate of speed to simulate motion. Rubric includes links to examples that are posted on YouTube.

Body Systems Project
This is a great class project after body systems have been studied throughout the school year. It can also stand on its own as an alternative to teaching body systems in a more traditional form. This unit includes the students handouts (project requirements, experiment form, research form), scoring guides and teacher project information.

Handwritting Tracing Lines to Form Letter
This is a document that has all the lines for students to trace over and over that will help them form the 26 letters of the alphabet.
