Variable Worksheet
The worksheet goes along with a CPALMS tutorial on the differences between independent and dependent variables. The tutorial is fantastic, BUT students can just click through to the end without reading the content; thus I created this worksheet to have accountability for the material in the tutorial. The site says it is for 7th grade, but it could be used at 6th or 8th grade levels.

AIDS Web Quest
This is a Word doc web quest. It is one page, but the page is laid out to be just a half sheet, front and back. This way you can print the assignment without having a blank sheet on the back. Simply print and cut in half to create two assignments. I'm a tree hugger so I believe in saving paper whenever possible. And it's FREE!
This is a great activity for the students when you just want them to spend 20-30 minutes on an assignment - like at the end of class. They can use it as their 'exit
