This assignment is perfect for differentiated instruction. Students can record answers in the spaces provided or cut each card and place the answers on the back of each card, thus creating flashcards. Students may quiz themselves with the cards, quiz a partner, or students can use the flashcards during small groups. This activity increased student retention in my classroom and I provided a ziplock bag for students to take the flashcards home so that they could actively engage with their parents.
