We used this pictograph as a follow-up activity to our field trip to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto (an extension of our Urban and Rural Communities study)! The activity allowed students to practice their graphing/data management skills. This activity could easily be adapted to other grades and for other data management purposes.
