Sight Words Graph
Here I have 3 similar worksheets for graphing sight words. The sheets are differentiated for low, middle and high ability. The students have to find all of the same sight word, colour code it and then fill in their graph with the correct amount.
This is a fantastic activity for getting students to make a graph and they are learning sight words at the same time!
This opens in MS Word so that you can change the sight words if you wish.

Graphing Your Favorite Animal Math and Science
This is a lesson plan that I created for my first grade class last year but could also be used with any grade when talking about graphing. Included is the full lesson plan with the common core standards for Math and Science, a rubric for assessment, coloring sheet and graphing sheet.
The students really enjoyed coloring their favorite animal then graphing it on the board for the rest of the class to see as they filled out their graphing sheets.

Farm Animal Pictograph
We used this pictograph as a follow-up activity to our field trip to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto (an extension of our Urban and Rural Communities study)! The activity allowed students to practice their graphing/data management skills. This activity could easily be adapted to other grades and for other data management purposes. I've also included a rubric for scoring!

5th Grade Coordinate Plane Worksheet Generator
This Excel Product Randomly generates coordinate plane worksheets with 10 points intended for bell work. They points lie between 0 and 10 and one sheet is for whole numbers, another for half, and another for tenths. Answer keys are included. Whenever a new entry in any cell is made, the workbook refreshes with all new questions and answer keys.

The students fill in this form throughout the year as they perform hands-on labs. Can be done collaboratively or independently depending on the support needed. As the year progresses, the students' lab reports will reflect the scaffolding that this graphic organizer supplied.
