A Day Without Friction
This is a great writing activity for the science classroom! Have your students think of their day and when they encounter friction. Then have them write a short story about their day if there was no friction. There are also three practice problems for high school physics. It can be edited for almost any grade level!

This lab describes the concept of density and leads students through the steps to find the density of several small objects. I used small objects such as beads, paperclips, small rocks, nuts/bolts, and marbles (anything that would fit in a graduated cylinder!!).
