This is an activity to increase self-reflection for stuttering. The directions are to "Write down three situations during the week that you used a fluency strategy (i.e. light contacts, breathing, pausing). Identify the strategy you used & the conversation partner(s)." This can be used to discuss communication throughout the week and how to increase fluency overall.

Articulation Boom Deck: Assimilation (Alveolar-Velar 2 Syllable Words)

This boom deck targets 2 syllable alveolar-velar words. There are 12 scenes with 10 targets per scene. Each target can be moved to a designated drop zone. An audio button with the target word is included. The last 2 scenes feature each target word to increase randomized practice, which encourages generalization. This deck is great for kids who have been working on fronting/backing but still struggle when an alveolar/velar is present in the target word.
