One and Two Step Equations word Problems. A lot of my 8th graders still really struggle with setting up word problems- so I used this as a review. It could also be used in 6th and 7th grade.
This worksheet contains 5 examples of conversions. Students color in blocks in the diagram, then figure out the fraction, decimal, andpercent that it represents. (Denominators are basic, around a 4th grade level)
Side one contains the multiplication facts in order from 0 to 12. This allows students to memorize the patterns in each of the sets.
Side two contains the inverse operation of these same multiplication facts, division. These division facts are NOT listed in order. This encourages the student to practice his or her math skills from memory.
This worksheet can be used as daily practice, homework, as a quiz, or final assessment.
It can be used as a timed assessment. 5 minutes is recommended.

A great and simple checkpoint to assess where students are regarding multiplying binomials. Problems begin with multiplying positive numbers only, and then including negative numbers, and then multiplying three binomials together. I teach my students to use Distributive Property or Area Model to solve problems. I emphasize Area Model, as it keeps their work organized and keeps the like terms at an angle. This activity requires a background of combining like terms, and leads into multiplying al

This Mulitplication Challenge can be used to quiz your students on their multiplication facts. Print the quiz on the front and print the answer key --upside down-- on the back of the paper. This allows students to check thier own answers by simply folding the bottom or the top of the paper over to compare thier answers to the key. A little homework is available on the backside for students to practice just those facts that give them trouble.

A probability experiment designed for use in my 7th Grade Math class. The 1st page has the students make estimates and we discuss Theoretical probability. The students then get to open and record data on the following page. After recording the data, the students write fractions, convert to decimal, and then to percent. The students complete the process three times using three Fun-Size bags of plain M&Ms. They are then asked to combine their data and do the conversions again. Finally, they
