In addition, they are also teacher friendly, especially for teachers that have multiple classes and/or larger class sizes! This documents gives you instructions on being able to select your behaviors and set your scoring criteria to help increase your student's ex

Here's an easy, manageable way to establish and implement a PBIS and CHAMPS strategy in your classroom. At the beginning of each quarter students are given hallway passes allowing them to leave my classroom for bathroom use, going to their locker for forgotten materials, and going to their locker for homework. In a world where assessments are so important it is important for students to be charting their own progress. This bar graph template is great for measuring mastery. If mastery is 80%, students will see each how close they are getting to that goal. How I have used this in my classroom is by stapling this paper on the inside of a manila folder and then having them put the assessments inside the folder after graphing their progress. That way students can go back and see the exams where they did

Quiz About Your Teacher - Getting to Know You Activity

This lesson is a fun way for students to learn about their teacher, peers and maybe even someone at home. I have used it with 3rd through 8th graders. It has always been a good way to start the first week of school or the first day of a new class in middle school. I don't always use the full lesson included. I usually use the in class part & tailor it to the time I have available. For me it's helped students open up in class and get to know each other. I believe it's an activity that he

I use some of these multiple times a day with a wide variety of students and they never fail to work. Too often I see new teachers unable to quickly and quietly transition kids from desks to rugs to lines and down the hall. Transitions can make or break your day.
