Quarterly Formative Assessment Spanish Usage and Participation Rubric
This participation rubric focuses on target language usage and participation in the World Language classroom. I distribute this rubric at the beginning of each quarter, revisit expectations, and have students self-evaluate at the end of each quarter. This is a clear, concise 1-page rubric that emphasizes the importance of active participation.
The rubric focuses on the following four categories:

This is a project that we did at the end of the unit LA ROPA, in my beginners Spanish class. They have to make a poster that represents an outfit that they researched online and then write a guided paragraph about it in Spanish. There is also the rubric that I used to grade their projects! My students found it very interesting and they were happy to see their posters displayed.
