This document was created as a review for Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. Upon completion of Chapter 1, my students fill out this graphic organizer/notesheet. It shows me how much they understand about the book and its characters so I am able to see where I need to fill in the misunderstandings. It can also be used by students while they read Chapter 1 since it highlights the major events of this chapter.
