“Lend a Hand” to Learning is a fun way for students to practice reading comprehension skills during guided reading or during workstations. Students choose a book that they’ve read. Next, flip through the “hands” to choose a strategy. Finally, answer the questions or talk about the statement on each finger. This activity can be done in small groups, with a buddy or independently. The download includes:
