I love making this Irish brown soda bread with my class in Australia! My grandmother passed this on to me a few years ago and it has never failed me! Most of them had never had Irish soda bread as it is not widely available in Australia unlike at home in Ireland. I'm going to make it on St. Patrick's Day this year as they loved the tasters I brought them in last week. Their parents are already looking for the recipe! My kids love these awards! Nice and bright using those neon colours they love, this style of award encourages co-operation in the classroom. Great for positive reinforcement of behaviour during groupwork activities! I used the font 'Cheri Liney' which adds to the cuteness of this award I think, especially due to the hearts used instead of the dot over the 'i' (doesn't show up in the preview unfortunately)!
