A collection of 4 paper airplane labs. The first three can be used individually or the four can be used as a set. Each lab sheet is blank for the students to fill out but includes a data table and conclusion questions. Provide students with airplane designs, give them the lab sheets and let them go make and fly paper airplanes. The zip file includes both a pdf and docx file.

Follow the hijinks of Pepper, Sedgewick and Truffles in the science lab room. Use the sort and worksheet to see how they are both safe and unsafe in the science lab. The sort has 20 examples, 10 safe and 10 unsafe. Students will sort the 20 pieces into two piles, safe and unsafe. The worksheet contains highlighted answers. The zip files comes with a pdf copy and a word document. This can be used in a science center or with partner work.

3 quick exit tickets or review questions for easy and quick use in the classroom. The first two are fill in the blank with a provided word bank focusing on cell type and organelles within the cell. The third is a compare and contrast for prokaryotic and prokaryotic cells. Each of the three come with an answer key and come with two per sheet, easy to print, cut and hand out to students.

Four exit tickets where students read a short passage about Pepper and her experiments. Students need to find the manipulated, responding and controlled variables for each of Pepper's experiments. Each page has two copies of the exit ticket ready to print out and make copies. The document can be edited and includes an answer key at the end.

Included in this set of documents is a metric line for students along with a completed teacher copy, two student warm-ups with answer keys in addition to being ready to print with multiple student copies on a single page to save on paper. There is also an activity called Metric Measure where students find the mass of an object and convert to the other metric units. The last item included is the mini metric quiz with an answer key along with the metric conversion problems being typed out.

I love my Science World magazines but sometimes I don't have the time to print from their website and then my students don't get to pick out what they want from the magazine, so I made this little write up. It gives them choice but also makes them accountable.
