A foldable for variables and a set of three practice problems. These are meant to be put into an interactive notebook. The document can be edited and includes 3 practice problems where students read a passage and pick out the variables.
I love my Science World magazines but sometimes I don't have the time to print from their website and then my students don't get to pick out what they want from the magazine, so I made this little write up. It gives them choice but also makes them accountable.
A quick concept map for measuring matter (volume, density and weight).
There are some practice problems on the backside too. The file is a zip file and comes with an answer key.

I am an active teacher who is used to not having a lot, so I had to make stuff as I went. I am not to terribly different than my students, just a slightly taller version of them.
