This is the classic Stone Soup folk tale adapted into a reader's theater by me (Andrea Johnson) for the elementary classroom. Great for fall harvest celebrations and Thanksgiving. Intended for whole class participation; add or subtract parts as needed.
Students choose one of the following options to share what they've learned about early Indiana life or a famous Hoosier using their learning style to best portray knowledge. Project choices: Make a recipe, create a journal, build a log cabin, write a research report, make a PowerPoint, or present as a wax museum.
