"Math Squares" are a daily review worksheet I created for my students. It's a daily warmup, similar to "Drops in the Bucket", but is more appropriate for a warmup review. It consists of 9 questions, each of which cover a different topic from the 4th grade math curriculum. There are 77 documents, and most are leveled "A" and "B" for easy differentiation ("B" is a bit easier).

It includes sides with lengths that fall directly on the half inch or half centimeter, so students get to practice rounding up to the next nearest inch or centimeter when their measurements fall directly in the middle. The last page includes challenge questions for early finishers, and asks students to find the area and perimeter of irregular objects.

Student Behavior Tracker

This conduct chart is used to keep track of student behavior. It's low-hassle and effective; kids really don't like writing in their demerits, and it's a great way to document for parent conferences or behavior referral paperwork. In its current form the tracker is set up in nine week increments, but because it's in a Word document it's simple to alter the dates and time period. Students fill in their demerits on the chart corresponding to the day of the infraction using the codes at the top

This PowerPoint reviews all the geometry essentials for 4th grade math (Texas), including points, lines, and planes; triangles; polygons; quadrilaterals; transformations; and solid figures. The PowerPoint does not include the answers to each question, but if you're the teacher, you should have mastered the content by now anyways! The kids are asked to draw a lot of the figures as well, so not having answers leaves you a little bit of leeway to interpret their drawings. Hint: Have the kids use wh

This in-class project requires students to create a "geometric town" that meets a list of teacher created requirements. Combining math and social studies, students must create a town that has all the essentials of a real town (town hall, fire station, schools, etc...) organized on their map in a logical and justifiable way, and must include specific shapes, angles, and types of lines.
