This guided lesson will teach the basics of Microsoft Excel to emerging-learners in technology. I designed it for fourth graders who have little-to-no previous experience. This is the companion poster that outlines the steps in solving a word problem. It belongs with the colorful problem solving posters for students to refer to as they work on solving tricky math word problems. I have used these strategies with students in Kinder all the way through 7th grade, and they work!
