Reading Topographic Maps
A powerpoint that goes over how to read topographic maps and then at the end allows students to practice reading the topographic map and answering questions about the specific map. This can either be done with whiteboards or print them out and use them as a station rotation activity. It is a wonderful practice activity to help students understand topo maps!

HR Diagram Search Activity
Use this activity to help students better understand the relationship of temperature and brightness on the HR diagram. Students will read the HR diagram and choose the star that the questions are describing. Attached at the end of the 2 page activity is the HR diagram to be used. Allow students to collaborate with a partner and make it a classroom activity or use it to test their knowledge and make it a quiz. Stars Relay Game (HR Diagram Practice)

Plate Tectonic Folder Pass/ Review Activity
The perfect way to help students review the key concepts of plate tectonics!
