After spending 2 years as an Instructional Aide with a Collaborative Math-Science Integration Grant at Texas State University., I began my career in public education. I have taught a wide variety of science elective courses over the past several years including Anatomy and Physiology, Aquatic Science, Food Science, and AP Environmental Science.

Can You Stack It? Density Lab
This lab is designed to give your students the opportunity to discover density of liquids and solids through a 2 day investigation! Students will create a density column using 7 different household liquids on the first day and add solids to the column the second day. Great for LOTS of practice calculating density!
Lab is designed for groups of 2-4 and 50 minute class periods.

I also sponsor a club called Women in STEM which keeps me working to integrate all STEM subjects and teach students about the interdisciplinary nature of all learning.
