This vocabulary Graphic organizer is awesome for ELLs. It asks them to describe a new word using all five senses. I have used this organizer for all my students, gifted, ESE, ESOL, etc. They all love this break in the monotony of copying definitions into a vocabulary notebook.
This activity allows students to show off their skills at modeling a multiplication fact, using the main strategies enforced through Engage NY/Eureka Math in the beginning of third grade. Strategies include using equal groups, a tape diagram, a number bond, and an array.
