This is a collection of simple experiments for elementary age learners. The Ivory Soap Experiment, The Liquid Density Experiment, H2O evaporation experiment, Lava experiment and the Barometer experiment. These are great early learner science experiments that will have your students asking questions , forming hypothesis and coming to conclusions about science and how they love it!
This is a simple experiment that demonstrates how microwaves have an unexpected effect on Ivory Soap! We are asking this question, “What happens to Ivory Soap when put in a microwave?” Lets explore the science surrounding this experiment, and ask and answer your questions. But first we need to make sure we stay safe! Then we can get into the instructions for how to conduct a safe experiment and then we can talk about what you can use it for once you have transformed your bar of Ivory soap. T
This is a science experiment that will help you learn how liquid is not all equal , some liquids are much denser and therefor much heavier. You will need a cylindrical container. I used a vase I found at the dollar store. It needs to be at least 10 inches tall or more. You will also need about an ounce of Lamp oil, Rubbing alcohol, Vegetable oil, water, Dish soap, milk, 100% Maple Syrup, corn syrup and Honey. You will ask the students to make predictions about what do you think will happen

Science work sheets , experiments, nature hunts, parts of the flower apple and pumpkin, Evaporation, water cycle and more. Some are worksheets that can be done by the student. Printable thermometer, tree seed identification. Parts of a flower. Some are fun activities you need to have discussion with the student. There are 5-6 days of science work 36 pages in this pack.
Very neat experiment to show Evaporation to the early learner. This only requires two cups and two bowls, and a light source. Remember to talk as you do, ask questions and make predictions. This shows a concept that is hard to understand due to lack of the vision of evaporation. This should be done after you introduce The Water Cycle , also available on our site and in our store. Happy Learning!
This is a narrative worksheet with a picture of a woman in Africa in a region that has little fresh water or clean drinking water. Very detailed color pictures of real life and cartoon items like a coil burner an ice cube a hot mug an ice sickle, a grill etc. The student needs to look at each item and decide if it is a hot or cold item and circle it with blue for cold and red for hot.
