I teach fourth grade at a year-round elementary school. My college course work was focused on elementary science and I taught fourth grade departmentalized ELA and science for two years before diving head first in to a self-contained, fifth grade classroom. I taught 5th grade for two years and am headed back to fourth. I guess your heart always calls you home! :-)
