This is a Pokemon inspired multiplication fact matching game. It includes facts for numbers 1-9. It can be separated into small matching games by each number, or you could combine a few to challenge the students with more items to match! My 2nd graders love using this as an introduction to multiplication facts. I have them use dry erase boards to draw arrays to solve the problems as they are first learning about multiplication!

With this lab write-up students will use various tools that represent different bird beaks. These tools include tweezers, a slotted spoon, and pliers.
