A PDF of rhymes about the gingerbread man that is loose in the classroom! Encourages students to create a trap out of materials to catch him! The rhymes explain the vocabulary words of "engineer", "bait", and "lure". Allows students to engage in problem solving and communication with others! Can be used as a STEM project for the winter months. My students REALLY loved these rhymes and were SO engaged in this "create a gingerbread man trap" STEM project! :)

This file contains "I am working for" and "First/Then" boards to pace students through their work session. Includes pages of rewards icons and smiley face tokens. On the large "I am working for" board, there are three versions with "expectations/rules" under each box. The boxes are open for images to be placed inside. There is also a version without rules/expectations. Print these documents, laminate, cut, and add velcro for repeated student use!

During the last 5 minutes of each day, my students reflect on their behavior. They give themselves a rating from 1-4 based on the rubric that is in this product and they write it on their calendar on the corresponding date! I look at my NWEA MAP data and place the student names into the column that they are "ready to learn" based on their overall RIT score within that band. These things that they are "ready to learn" are from the NWEA learning progressions.
