My 2nd graders love using this as an introduction to multiplication facts. I have them use dry erase boards to draw arrays to solve the problems as they are first learning about multiplication!

This is a symmetry sort where students will look at cards that have various 2D shapes on them. Each shape has a line that divides the shape into two parts. Students can sort the cards into two piles, shapes that show symmetry and those that do not! Can be a great visual sort for students to practice identifying lines of symmetry!
In my district, students take the MAP NWEA assessment three times each school year. These are very simple awards for students that celebrate progress on the MAP reading and MAP math assessments. Print these on colorful cardstock to celebrate your students' success and have a celebration of learning!
With this lab write-up students will use various tools that represent different bird beaks. These tools include tweezers, a slotted spoon, and pliers. Students must use these tools to crush and open various foods that the bird "beaks" are eating. Foods such as cereal, gummy worms, and sunflower seeds are used.
