Teaching is my passion and I've been doing what I love for 13 years. Within these years I have taught grades 1 through to 6 and was also granted teacher professional leave to further my studies in Inquiry based learning. I have led teaching teams through the Literacy Curriculum and I spend a significant amount of time completing professional reading online.

The 4 C’s stands for: Care, Concern, Celebration and Compliment
Care – What do you care about at the moment?
Concern – What is concerning you at the moment?
Celebration – Is there a celebration you are looking forward to or what are you celebrating?
Compliment – Do you have a compliment for someone (in, or beyond the classroom)?

Friendship / My Buddy
Created by 'Aussie Inklings' and designed to be used within a buddy program, which provides support between junior and senior students. The younger students feel safe and cared for, and older students feel valued and respected. It promotes social skills, communication and friendship between students and includes a compare and contrast graphic orgniser.

Teaching style
Facilitating the thinking process through a hands-on, minds-on approach. Looking into my classroom, you'd see students working at tables, on the floor, in groups or independently You'd hear working noise, laughter, brains ticking and you'd see me, assisting,encouraging, learning!
