2x Board games In pairs, students roll either 2 or 3 dice (depending on board) and use mental maths to add the numbers together. If their number appears in a circle they can cross it out. If it does not, they wait until it is their turn again to try their luck. I laminate copies and have students use whiteboard markers to cross out numbers. You can use counters for students who are not yet ready for mental math strategies.

All multiplication stories are divisible by 5. All my picture stories are laminated and the kids work through the different problems on their tables.
