This is a compilation of review questions for the main units taught in 8th grade Science. Includes questions from the Hydrosphere Unit, Earth and Evolution Unit, Cells and Microbiology Unit, and Chemistry Unit. I used it as a guide to help my students review their knowledge of what we learned during the school year. It also makes helpful suggestions for how to study. My students found it very helpful. Basic Power Point on trophic levels. Briefly covers what each level is ex. producer, primary consumer, etc. Has several visuals of trophic pyramids. Also uses a visual to demonstrate the loss of energy at each level (left with 10% of previous level's energy). There is a slide that asks the student to come up with their own pyramid as well.

this is a short document I have use in Earth and Environmental Science. It would also be appropriate for middle grades students. There is a brief description of how the Rock Cycle works along with a visual. Then there is a matching activity involving pictures of rocks and the students identify them as sedimentary, metamorphic, or igneous. The 3rd page consists of 2 more rock cycle diagrams and the key to the matching activity.

This is a Power point presentation on the formation of sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks that I have used in my Earth Science class. It gives basic information as well as visuals. Very straightforward and simple for the students to follow.

This sheet includes: Molecules to Moles to Mass conversions for elements and compounds. There are equations and examples for each. It also includes percent conversions, empirical formula, molecular formula, and hydrate conversions (Equations and examples for each). I gave this as a handout to my Chemistry students to help them study. They felt that this was enormously helpful.
