A simple sheet for recording the types of characterization used in any short story or novel.

This is the easier version of the examples of characterization graphic organizer. I teacher characterization in literature circles, so these are easily adaptable to any text and they seem to work pretty well.

This is a simple graphic organizer to break down plot structure. I make it double sided and we read one short story and fill it out together and then they read one with a partner or small group and fill it out on their own. To get kids engaged in the activity, I type up the main events or details in a simple story and cut them into strips.
