This is a 1 page (front and back) multiple choice and fill in the blank assessment to give after students are finished reading the book Midnight on the Moon by Mary Pope Osborne. I give it to students once they have finished their Novel Study for a quick comprehension assessment.

LEVELED Moon Phases Bingo!
This is a packet of 20 pages. The pages include
- 8 moon phases bingo cards with picture only
- 9 moon phases bingo cards with picture and title
- a teacher calling card (I just laminate and check off for continuous use)
Simply call out a phase: "Waxing Gibbous" and students mark the page on their bingo. GREAT reinforcement tool and the students love it!

S3E1: 3rd Grade Science - Rock Cycle Scoot (with answer key)
This is a scoot on the rock cycle. A scoot is a great way to have students moving while they answer questions. Scoot can be performed independently or with partners. I like to use it as a formative assessment grade. Students simply write in the letter of the correct answer on their recording sheet. The answer key is provided so checking answers is quick and easy.

Experience

Teaching style
I am a dedicated elementary school teacher with a passion for inquiry based learning. I believe in reading and writing across the curriculum with the integration of multiple subjects to create a flexible, innovative classroom environment. Success is found when students learn through exploration and each other by creating a comfortable, welcoming setting that encourages discussion and higher level thinking. Mathematics is my passion as well as my area of strength. I am hard working and trusted and I believe collaboration, feedback, and reflection is the key to professional growth and achievement.
