This product is a reading response book for 2nd graders using the CCC Making Meaning curriculum. It includes two prompts per week/book.

This is a reading response journal aligned with the CCC curriculum, Making Meaning, Unit 1.

This is a book of 60 sight word poems. The list of sight words it covers is in the preview. This is the first 60 sight words in the kindergarten CCC (Center for Collaborative Learning) curriculum. This can be done in small groups or whole groups. I suggest echo reading, choral reading, and highlighting the sight words.

Here is a responding response booklet for students to think deeply about the books that they are reading at home. This can be done from home with no teaching/guidance required. I made this with 1st grade in mind, but can be used for K-2.

This is simply sight word flash cards that align with the Center for Collaborative Classroom sets 1-3 curriculum. This set includes 24 cards per word. All you would need to do is print, cut, and sort however you wish. This resource gives kids extra practice by giving them their own set of sight words.

Print out the math scoot (4 slides per page, 2 per page, or regular), post it around the room, and have students solve the problems on the answer sheet or on a white board. Another use to this is projecting it and solving together or printing the cards out and having the students practice individually. This is a companion to Math Expressions Unit 3 in kindergarten. I would recommend printing out copies for all students who need a challenge and using this to supplement the curriculum. This contains 1-2 workbook pages per lesson.
