Includes:
(1) Reference Poster- Negative self talk vs. Positive self talk
(1) Practice sheet- Changing Negative self talk to Positive self talk
For use as supplement to a social skills curriculum. I often use it to accompany the book, "I Think, I Am!" by Louise L. Haye.
Includes:
(1) behavior anchor chart for children to become aware of what level of prompting they require to complete their work. Self-awareness is the first step to behavior change.
(1) staff reference guide for coding level of prompting used with a child (to inform data collection)
Includes:
a set of anchor charts for either individual and classroom reference that clearly describe the activity, the needed materials, what your body should be doing, and what your mind should be doing.
These are VERY helpful as a first resource for children who are off-task, wander about, and fail to transition to the next activity.
Elementary students who over (or under) react to events can be helped by using this chart. It can be completed after an overreaction occurs, or used to preview a coming event. Many students on the spectrum struggle with overreaction to everyday school events. I've found this very helpful!
