This activity allows students to be creative as a class. Students imagine walking through a haunted house and they describe sounds they might here (Cackling witch, howling ghost, creaking door, footsteps, crying...) As a class the teacher fills the grid with each sound and students come up with ways to make the sounds. When the grid is full, instructor can point to each item in order or in various way. Students make the sounds as they are pointed to.
