Help students take responsibility for their own learning (and myelination)! Print off this recording/reflection sheet, write in your unit (or yearly) goals (targets, outcomes, or big ideas), and make copies for students. This resource could also be handed out to students as a community-building membership card. Grade-specific (K-5), colour (blue), and black-and-white based options available. This resource simplifies homework, by having students set goals for reading (at home and at school), and then fill in a reading graph to keep track of their minutes. Students create a simple single or double bar graph each week, tracking their reading minutes (10 minutes of at-home or school reading equals 1 square on the reading graph). At the end of the year, graph elements can be gradually deleted, as students are guided to eventually creating their own graph, using just graph paper (no sc
