Calling all teachers who are looking for a fun and engaging way to practice and/or review adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers. Multiplying by Factors of 10: You Make the Rule!
This investigative activity allows students to come up with their own rules on how to multiply numbers by factors of 10. Students will compare the problem to its answer for several questions. From there they will establish a pattern and come up with their own rule. They will then use their rules to practice several problems to see if their rules work. Experience

I have very loud and energetic. I always tell people I do not teach, I entertain. I like when kids are engaged in the lesson and are collaborately working together.

I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with my BA in Elementary Education with a Middle School Endorsement.
