This activity goes over the effect of ocean currents (El Nino) and the affects it has on weather and climate. SPI 0507.8.1 Describe the effects of the oceans on weather and climate.

I used this as my exit cards each day for my students. Each page was done with a different lesson, so this was taught over a total of 3 days.

This quiz will assess students' knowledge on how mountains affect the climate. Students will be assessed on their knowledge of the leeward side, windward side, rain shadow, and climates of a mountain. This assessment relates directly to the standard GLE 0507.8.1 Analyze and predict how major landforms and bodies of water affect atmospheric conditions.

SPI 0307.12.1 Recognize that magnets can move objects without touching them. SPI 0307.12.2 Identify objects that are attracted to magnets.
