I use this to help students prep for the common core ELA's. It allows them to read the text, stopping at certain points to draw a picture of what they just read. They can use the drawings to help them answer questions. This also teaches them to make modifications for themselves while test taking.
Used with my students with Autism as well as mainstream students that I tutor.

This is a way for students to practice marking numbers in order to reach the goal of addition, subtraction and even more! The modified numbers are repetitive as well as in larger print. I use this with my students with ASD. This way of learning addition allowed them to now reach the goal of dividing and multiplying.
This is a simple and repetitious way to help students become more independent and confident in predicting outcomes in given text. I use it with my students with ASD and students that I tutor in the mainstream .
