This presentation introduces students to what computer networks are and why they are used and important in academic and professional settings. An extension activity is included in the presentation and will require each student to have access to a computer, unless they are working in pairs. The activity can be as simple or complex as you desire depending on the level of learners.

This is a group project that encourages learners to lead their own learning and communicate effectively with one another. The presentation included an embedded lesson plan and the required role cards. The only items you will need to provide are building materials such as Popsicle sticks, bottle caps, tape etc as the students will be trying to replicate a structure that you have built prior to the lesson. This is an easily amendable workbook that is applicable for many different grades and levels of ability. This six-page workbook includes a variety of activities that all focus on lower-level English skills (UK E1-E2) initially for learners with special needs. The text entry and activities are themed around a 'Snow and Ice' news story and how the weather can effect travel.

This workbook introduces the topics of multiplication and division and takes into account learners that are coping with learning difficulties and disabilities. The questions and situations are colourful and contextualised to assist with engagement. At 21 pages in length, this would stretch over a few lessons or be an acceptable homework assignment. My learners always enjoy this workbook and I find it is a good way to start the year and gauge previously learned knowledge.

This assignment sheet is to be used after students have had input in regards to what descriptive words are and how they can enhance their writing. The sheet asks them to write some short entries about three different fictional topics. Their written can be as long or short as the teacher decides.
