This writing checklist can be used with any type of writing, as it focuses on language conventions (i.e. finger spaces, punctuation, capital letters, spelling, and readability). I have my kids staple a copy to each writing piece they turn in, with their self-assessment and I return it with my assessment written on it.

This flipbook is designed to help kids with counting by multiples, or skip counting. Skip counting is often called counting by 2s or by 5s, etc. Skip counting really helps with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Student dictionaries are a great resource for writers and can even replace the word wall. There are number words, days of the week, months and colors. There are 2 pages for each letter and include several printed words for each letter with blank spaces for the students to fill in as the year goes. This was made to be printed on a full size sheet of paper, front to back. The front 2 pages and back 2 pages can be printed on card stock for durability.
