About the store
I am a middle-high school teacher and former library/media specialist in my fourth year of teaching. Previously teaching middle school reading intervention, I was always looking for something to make the lessons more interesting to my students and often had to adapt or create my own. Most of what you will find here are activities that I used with my students (most if not all being reluctant readers) to engage them and make reading and writing fun.

For all your student accommodation tracking needs! Use this cheat sheet to help you keep track of which students in which classes have what in class, assignment, and testing accommodations. I've found this super helpful in the past and am excited to be using it again this year.

Library Scavenger Hunt

This is the warm up/activator and scavenger hunt that I did with my middle and high schoolers their first week in the library. They did the warm up to remember everything they knew or needed to ask about how libraries work and then we practiced finding the areas/sections of the library before getting into teams for the scavenger hunt. It's fully editable for you tailor it to your students and needs.

Teaching style

I try to be as hands on as possible, it's important than my students can learn by doing instead of just listening to me drone on and on.
