August On This Day in History Daily Warm Up Bell Ringer
This resource provides a historical event for every day of the month along with a thought-provoking prompt for Gen Z to be used as a bellringer, a quick-write activity, a whole class discussion starter, or in learning centers for informational/nonfiction text reading. What sets our "On This Day" resource apart from similar resources is that each prompt encourages students to think critically about “their place in the world” with respect to the event; not having them focus on the event itself.
