I have created a life size Monopoly game for your gym! All real estate spaces are color coded based off of an actual Monopoly game board. Each space has a designated exercise.

28 different task cards with picture of exercise, what it is, and the amount of reps. I set this up with 14 task cards on one half of the gym, 14 on the other. Group students in pairs. Split the class to start on different ends of the gym. One group member picks a task card and they choose to perform the exercise (DEAL) or run to the other side of the gym to choose another (NO DEAL). If group chooses NO DEAL, the next task card they choose THEY MUST COMPLETE! It is that simple! Great warm u
Five hands on stations related to the effects alcohol has on the body. Each station includes the materials needed, what to do, and questions to consider. Some activities have been adapted from Tom Jackson's "Activities that Teach".
Also included are reflection questions for the students to complete when finished with the stations.
If you do not have "fatal vision" goggles you can easily make them by taking an old pair of sunglasses and wiping some vaseline onto the lenses!
Three page touching assessment for Special Education or lower grade levels. Includes a chart of good touch/bad touch, a body diagram that students circle the places it is OK for someone to touch and X the places where is is NOT ok. Also includes a few short answer questions.
First, test your students alcohol IQ. Have your students fill out a twelve question true or false sheet related to alcohol and its effects on the body.
Break students up into seven different groups. Each group will be assigned a part of the brain and given posters an markers. Students will create a poster depicting the effects of alcohol from the sheet provided to them.

I am very activity based within the health classroom. I think that students also learn through guided-discovery. I am extremely outgoing and am very passionate about my career.
I am fitness based within the gym! All of my PE activities I have used for my modified PE classes and can easily be used with elementary levels. There are a lot of fun "warm-up" type activities!
