2 sorts included. Students are sorting to find that numbers that do or do not round to a given number. Both sorts have numbers that go to the thousands place. One sort rounds to the nearest hundred, the other to the nearest thousand. Great for a small group or independent practice.

This is a sort to help students closely examine word form and standard form. The sort goes to the hundred thousands place. This sort could be done independently, in partners, groups, or as a station. I used it for a remediation group and gave students a card and they had to reach out and grab their correct card when I said go. It could also be used as a whole group activity where students have to walk around the room to find the person who has their matching card.
