Using real student work have your students find the misconceptions illustrated within the work shown. Once the student correctly identifies the misconception your students should solve the problem correctly.

Students are able to work through a horizontal number line model, corresponding word statement and math statement. Students are given one of those three and must write/construct the equivalency.
