Statistics Task Cards includes 20 questions that are complete with QR Codes that students can scan with a QR Code reader on a wireless device (iPad, tablet, cell phone, etc.) to check answers.
Includes statistics topics of: Line plots, Scatter Plots, Box-and-Whisker Plots, Histograms, Bar Graphs, Circle Graphs & more! They are presented in PowerPoint and could be used for whole class instruction, printed one to a page as large task cards, or multiple to a page for mini-task cards.

Touchdown Probability
Touchdown Probability Game includes 16 questions that students solve and try score a touchdown (refer to the preview slides for game rules and notes to the teacher).
Includes probability topics of: theoretical and experimental probability that are presented in PowerPoint and could be used as a game when printed one to a page as large task cards, or multiple to a page for mini-task cards ( I wouldn't print more than two to a page as students need to be able to see the answers easily).

Gradual release. I love the idea of modeling, then allowing children time to develop their skill and then show their level of math proficiency.

I have been teaching middle school math for five years now. I enjoy working with students doing hands on learning projects like robotics, Can you Cross the Street lab, TI-Activities, Doceri Video Projects, Constructing Surface Area Robots, and many other hands on activities throughout the year!
