Constructing Math Sense

Through a series of progressive, scaffolded worksheets students practice identifying angles by name, classifying angles as acute, right, and obtuse, and finally measuring angles with a protractor. When measuring angles, students are cued to answer questions about the angle in order to read the correct numbers on the protractor. This is a gradual release, scaffolded set of worksheets for students. Students learn and practice the steps needed to be able to compare unlike fractions and mixed numbers. Students find the Least Common Multiple (LCM), convert unlike fractions to equivalent like fractions, and place the fractions in order. The first problem does most of the steps.
