Experience

I have taught high school English in a public school setting for three years. I have written curriculum and created materials for county-wide use. I have a passion for collaboration among colleagues and for creating materials that are engaging and useful for teachers and students alike.

Teaching style

Incorporating all types of media (TV clips, film, music, art. ect...) into my instruction in order to engage students and help them expand their view of the world.

My own education history

I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State University and my M.Ed in Secondary Education- English from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Additional biographical information

I live with my husband and my two children, 6 and 8, in Maryland. Love to travel, read, watch movies, and enjoy time with friends, family, and pets.
