The Importance of Units - Brain Teaser Activity
This product is great for introducing students to the importance of putting units on EVERYTHING! I gave this activity to my students as a "pop quiz" and gave them about 15 minutes to answer the questions. I then had them switch papers with a partner for "grading". I told the students that the answer was either right or wrong, no partial credit! I then began reading the answers...notice how questions 2 and 4 are the same? Well, they have different answers and I was a real stickler on the students

Teaching style
I like to describe by teaching style as "old school with a new school flare". I love to play games and find creative ways to deliver content, but I also believe that hand-writing notes, practice, and repetition are key to student success.
