Hello everyone! As I have mentioned before my kiddos and I love number talks in our classroom! This is a FREE product consisting of different dot patterns. You flash one of the patterns on the board for 10 seconds then take it away. Then you have an open discussion of how many dots were there and how students came up with that number in their head. This is a small but cute little note to send home for the day before school. It consists of a little poem for the students to read. All you have to do it print this out on colored paper, add a small bag of confetti and send it to their house. I usually give it out to the parents on Meet the Teacher Night that we have before the first day of school. It gives the students confidence and excitement to start school. This is a clip chart to help keep track of how many points students earn for reading counts. Having the chart helps students be motivated to continue to earn when they see other students progressing through the chart.
